These are 5 questions we have answered to get to know us better.
David:
- What is your favorite color? Typical male response blue, Favorite color combination dark gray and light blue
- Do you get sarcasm? What is sarcasm (said sarcastically)
- If you had on super power what would it be? I have actually thought about this a lot. It used to be minds control, but have recently changed it to being able to know what people’s situation is. I know this sounds creepy, but i am a people watcher and would love to know what people do for a living, who they are with and the relationship, and there personality. It is a super power after all.
- Music listening to on your ipod or in your cd player. Arctic Monkeys, The Fratellies, and The balck keys
- Favorite sport to watch? Does poker count as a sport? if not Football.
Roni:
- What is your favorite color? Typical female reponse, pink. I only said that becuase David did and anyway he already stole blue.
- Do you get sarcasm? "Get it" as in have I picked up some at the store recently? or "get it" like we’re in on the same joke? Becuase I did just grab some sarcasm at Wal-Mart the other day, but I wanted to make sure I understood the question. Wait a minute, let me answer that again. No.
- If you had on super power what would it be? Easy. Invisibility.
- Music listening to on your ipod or in your cd player. Everything from Pantera to Patsy Cline, Beatles to Beyonce, Ten Years After to Tears for Fears. I could go on and on here.
- Favorite sport to watch? I probably would’t watch any if it wasn’t for the husband. That being said I don’t mind… Football, golf, and (ok David) Poker.

No Dave, Poker does not count as a sport. It would be like calling Chess a sport. It is an activity. I am still on the fence nearly 20 years on about golf by the way. I mean it takes excellent hand-eye coordination and a modicum of fitness, but really, a sport? I don’t know. It seems more like an activity, but you keep score, if you walk you get a mild cardio-vascular workout, and you can gamble on it.
I think it just beats Poker as the last sport allowed in before being shuttled into the “activity” room never to return.

Ha! so does that mean that bowling is not a sport either? It has some sort of walking involved and you are throwing, ok rolling, a ball. So what classifies a sport? Can it be the amount of exercise that you get, how far you run, the amount of energy you burn, contact, etc….This is a good debate. For years people have told me that running is not a sport. Where does that fall. And good to see your comments.
Long time no debate. I miss it!!!

Really? People say running isn’t a sport? That amazes me. It qualifies as an olympic sport, which should be enough for anyone. I’m glad you mentioned that you roll, rather than throw the ball, in bowling, now I know why I was having so much trouble:-) “What is a sport” is actually a very good question. I wish Jim McKay was still around to ask…I bet he would have come up with a good answer!
